The cure

Back from Hampi. Was great. Hampi is the place where's actually nothing to do. Maximum Chillout. Spiritual and very religious place, the government bans selling alcohol and meat, so tourism is really sucks. You can visit temples and meet monkeys. There's a river through Hampi the other side is an israeli dominant party place but when we wanted to cross, guys in the boat said that the boat comes back only tomorrow because the water level is too high. There's a bridge in process nearby but it fell down this January among mystical circumstances. Maybe the gods don't want Hampi to become party place. Understandable. So we decided to stay on the peaceful side and made tours in the hills visiting temples. The scariest thing was that no matter how high a temple was built in the hills each of them has its own guard who lives there and watches the temple. Like in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Old women who climbs the rock each day or live in the hills. And when you think you're alone in the middle of nowhere someone appears and watches you. The hills have eyes!

Here in Hyderabad the Durda-Pooje festival is happening all the week. Muslim Ramadan's just over last week, now hindi celebrate Durga, the goddess of destruction with dancing and singing in every street all across India. Huge street marching and carriage of giant statues on trucks to the lake of Hyderabad. And as I was informed this is like this in about every month. India has many gods...

The bad thing that can not really enjoy the festival as got cold two days back. Must be on the bike when we were three on a Hero Honda in the rain on the way to the cinema. Real Indian style. We went to see Quick Gun Murugan. Whatever. I asked for a big onion from Balu's mom and ate it with four limes and a small bottle of Red Knight whisky we bought for 38 Rupees. Had some vitamins and aspirin and went to sleep. Both onion and alcohol are strictly forbidden in Balu's house because of religious reasons, but I hope the gods will forgive me. I slept the whole day, now I'm a lot more better.
